Cathedral Music Staff

Aric Prentice, MA, PGCE, LTCL
Director of Music

 

Aric Prentice has been the Director of Music in Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Minster School since January 2003. He directs the girls' section of the choir.

He is a counter-tenor and frequently appears as a soloist around the county and beyond.

Colin Walsh, the internationally acclaimed organist, is based in Lincoln Cathedral.

An annual programme attracts renowned organists world-wide to perform on the Cathedral's "Father Willis" organ.

The Dean and Chapter are committed to developing Lincoln Cathedral as a centre of excellence in organ-playing.

Charles Harrison, MA, FRCO, ARCM
Assistant Director of Music

Charles Harrison directs the Cathedral Boys' section of the choir.

He is regularly in demand as an organ recitalist and appears frequently with the Ulster Orchestra.


Cathedral Choir
Three of the Sunday Services and Weekday Evensong (except Wednesday) are sung by the Cathedral Choirs during school term time.
