Newark Brass Festival, patron Denis Wick, is a new event and will take
place on January 24 and 25 2009 at Newark's Palace Theatre.

It comprises education workshop to be led by Royal College of Music's
10-piece band, a competition for players aged 11 to 30,
minimum standard grade 5, to be judged by professional brass players,
and a gala concert.
